2024 Interclub Upload is now closed for new entries

 

 Print entries should be either :-

1/ delivered between 11.30am and 1.30pm to St. Peters Anglican Church Hall, 371A Neerim Road, Caulfield on 23rd March – the day before the scheduled half-year Zoom meeting

 or 2/ delivered to a VAPS Committee Interclub receiving point as outlined below:

This site is for Club Use only. Club members must submit their entries to their club for club selection.

 

Clubs, log in and then select Competitions and then Entries from the header above.

 

Then log in with your Club Username and Password.

 

If you have lost your password or do not know it, please use the “Password Request” tab on the log in page to receive a new one, only re-register your club if you need a new account.

 

NOTE, by entering the VAPS Interclub Competition the submitting club gives VAPS the absolute right to copy and publish images in the Interclub Catalogue, for use on the VAPS website and to use any such entry in the state’s submission to the AIPC Interstate competition.

Clubs are responsible to ensure that the Rules for the VAPS Interclub are complied with, especially in respect of image naming, size, thickness of mounts and packaging, note wooden boxes will not be accepted for print deliveries.

Clubs can select 15 Digital, 15 Print and up to 4 OPEN Audio Visual entries

EDPI, Print and AV images must be a maximum of 1920 x 1080 at 300 DPI when uploaded to the system.

All different types of print including colour, black and white, photogram series, photo-essay, toned, and hand-coloured prints are acceptable, provided that the presented image shows evidence of an underlying photographic image.

Panoramic format prints are acceptable but shall comply with the maximum mount size detailed below.

- Prints may be any size, up to a maximum of 40cm x 50cm (16in x 20in).

Prints must be mounted, and mounts must not exceed 40cm x50cm (16in x20in); there is no minimum mount or print size.

 The maximum mount, matte and print thickness is 5mm. This means that 5mm foam core backing CANNOT be used. 3mm foam core backing is readily available. Images that do not comply will be withdrawn from the competition.

All prints must have a title that must be no longer than 30 characters (only letters from the English alphabet, numbers and spaces will be allowed) and be labelled, with the maker’s name, the title of the print and club name on the back of the print.

Digital, Print and AV entries must all have a digital image uploaded at time of entry.

 

Digital, Print and AV entries must have the Title and Makers name entered to the Upload system to be accepted.

 

Audio Visual entries must be MP4 type files, sequences produced as 4K will not be accepted.

 

All AV entries must be sent to interclub@vaps.org.au as well as having the title and makers names entered to the upload system, AV entry form should be entered to the Upload system also.

 

Please see VAPS Newsbrief for further instructions and the requirements for correct mounting of prints. A maximum 5mm including backing board and Matt is the maximum allowed.

 

Any print that does not have a backing board or is coming apart will not be judged.
